Also with regards to BCG vaccine , the skin test comes positive only within 10 years after BCG is given. If you still have a reaction after 10 years then that means that you have a passive TB and it is recommended that you get it treated. I had a long conversation with an Infectious Disease specialist and he mentioned that there is no urgency to start the treatment because of age factor. So if there is a doctor you know who says that you do not need to be treated even after 10 years of taking the BCG , then probably you should change your doctor for the sake of your own health.

The second one is good, but I feel that it's too heavily "weighted" on the right side, with nothing to balance things out on the left side. I only wish that the foreground plant was conveniently moved a yard / meter to the left for you. ;)

Now as I understand it, AC21 will not apply to the contract offer and the contracting employer will not give a letter stating to continue the GC process since you are on contract. If the original sponsoring employer revokes the I-140 petition (I-140 approved and 180 days have passed post 485 submission), this would basically cause a NOID and the only way to not have the 485 filing denied would be to reply to the NOID with information of a full time offer in a same or similar job and the new employer willing to continue the GC process - is this accurate?

This is beginning to look more and more like a organized and deliberate attempt to block people from filing for AOS.....
Dude, the whole system is setup and organized wrongly deliberately..
In the guise of fairness and promoting racial diversity, the system is deliberately setup so that countries that supply most labor backlog all the time....
Phillippines for healthcare workers
Chindia for technology workers
Mexico for low skilled workers
This gives businesses that employ the imported labor the opportunity to exploit the employees at will.
There are always unused visa numbers and oversubscribed countries in the system all the time...this gives politicians the leeway to throttle immigration as they want...through the DOS bulletins...the July fiasco was just an extreme example of this practice....
Even if a point based system is brought in, the per country fixed quotas will not go away....and thus the retrogression will continue....yes, you qualify through the point based system, but since a lot more from your country qualify too...you go the end of the line...

Again he wants his message to be clear. Here in US, Indians means Native Indians. Everyone till now whom I have come across refer to Indain while they speak and that is for Native Indians and not us. Also our motherland INDIA is in south east asia which is why he clearly said EAST INDIANS. So take a dip in cold water and move on.

Well just to get away a bit from the complications of immigration!
Either the victim (who lost jwelery) has some animosity to you/family/your sister or your sister by her actions has given him/her reason to suspect her for the lost jwelery. Maybe your sister might have been a frequent visitor to that house? Or the jwelery was lost immediately after your sisters visit? First identify what prompted this accusation and then tackle it. Ofcourse consult a good attorney.
Even if the person acuses your sister, she is inocent until proven guilty and unless there is sufficient evidence there is no way your sister will be convicted by any judge/jury.
Lesson to learn; Don't get tooooooooo close to anybody. Helping is good but even with your relatives you have keep a certain distance and respect their privacy and territory. I sent in my I-140,I-485,EAD & AP applications to Nebraska Service Center which was the nodal agency to receive all I-140 applications during July -August 2007. They then would transfer some of the cases to TSC for processing. Due the visa bulletin fiasco, my applications were transferred to VSC for data entry and all my receipts have an EAC number. I received my EAD & AP and also a transfer notice informing that my I-485 was transferred to TSC as my job is in a state that comes under TSC's jurisdiction. But I did not hear anything about my I-140 being transferred to TSC. So we called up USCIS to check on it. We were informed that VSC would process my I-140 application and it was not necessary for it to be transferred to TSC unlike I-485.
My concern is VSC is taking for ever to process I-140's and currently are processing Apr 06 applications. I believe the dates have remained like that for a while now. Atleast TSC says clearly that they will process I-140 in 6 months, but VSC has no such processing times mentioned. Due to no fault of mine, my application ended up in VSC and is stuck there until some kind folks pick them for reviewing..which may take more than a year going by the current processing times. Is there anything I could do to have it transferred to TSC? Are there other members in the same situation? There is no likelihood of PPS starting anytime soon....what are my options to fix this problem? I thought under the new bi-specialization procedures only NSC & TSC processed I-140 applications...

Use G325A since it has four pages. Each page will be sent to different places written at the left bottom of each page. My lawyer sent me G325A.
I disagree. if you read the instructions on Form I-485 it clearly states nder the inital evidence that you are required to submit Form G325A. No where did they mention GA 325.
So if i were you, I would agree to the earlier post to submit the G325A along with all your details in a letter or wait for a receipt.

I think once the application is processed, they will mark the case as "pending visa number availability". July 30 means, they must have processed(hopefully) half of the July fiasco filers. We can expect LUDs on the cases.
If PD is not current, will USCIS process your I-485 application?
NSC indicates that they are processing I-485 applications with notice date of July 30, 3007. Does it mean they have processed all the I-485 applications received (ND) prior to that date even if PD was not current for all those applications?

I have recently returned using AP. I had 3 APs and the officer took one and returned 2 back to me. Both were stamped and the officer told me that for my next trip I can use the 2 APs with me. And also that I need not submit any AP on my next trip back.

You will need to file an immigrant petition (Form I-130) for your child and wait for its approval. Your child will have to wait overseas until his/her priority is current. Thereafter, there will be some form of consular processing and the child will obtain an immigrant visa. Thereafter you can bring your child to the USA. It is a long process......

But in my case, the kid is 2 years AND also not sure what is the procedure now. Is it still true by default the kids automatically gets the green card at port of entry (Is there any age limit I hope may be till < 13 yrs) if parents posses valid green card. Please help me in this situation.

There is one more thing you should consider -
One is allowed to enter on AP, as long as the I-485 application remains pending. The risk is, if the I-485 application is denied while person is outside USA, then the Immigration Inspector can deny the person's entry on AP into the USA.

Now what are my options going forward and how does this affect my chances of a successful PERM filing ??
I'm filing in EB3 category right now. Also I need to file for labor before oct since my H1 will expire its original 6 year length next Oct (Oct 2010).
Ask your company what the plan is. If they say wait 6 months or something, just find another job and move on quietly. You must have perm filed by oct this year.
